Okay, so, I’ve been thinking a lot about this whole “when do I get a job” thing, and I remembered some stuff about astrology. I mean, why not, right? It’s as good a guess as any.

I dug up my birth chart, you know, that circle thing with all the lines and symbols. Turns out there’s this thing called the Midheaven, or MC for short. Apparently, it’s supposed to tell you about your career and what you’ll be known for. I found the MC point on my chart and saw what sign it was in. The idea is to try and bring some of those qualities into my life, I guess. Sounds a bit out there, but hey, I’m willing to try anything at this point.
Then I did some more digging. It seems the 10th house in your birth chart is a big deal for career stuff. I looked at mine and tried to see if there were any connections to other houses, like the 1st house, which is about personality. It’s all pretty confusing, honestly. But it was interesting to see how all these different parts of the chart might be related to my job situation.
- First, I found my birth chart online. It was pretty easy, just had to put in my birth date, time, and place.
- Then, I identified the Midheaven (MC) on the chart. It’s at the very top, like 12 o’clock on a clock.
- I noted the zodiac sign associated with my MC. This is supposed to give clues about my career path.
- Next, I looked at the 10th house. This is the house of career and public image.
- I checked for any connections between the 10th house and other houses, especially the 1st house (personality).
So, I spent a good chunk of time just staring at this chart, trying to make sense of it all. I wrote down some notes about the signs and houses and what they might mean. Did it give me a clear answer about when I’ll get a job? Nope. But it did give me some things to think about. Maybe there are some aspects of my personality or skills I haven’t been highlighting enough. Or maybe I just need to be patient and trust that things will work out.
Honestly, the whole astrology thing might be a bunch of baloney. But in this long and tiring job search, it was kind of fun to explore. Plus, it gave me a little bit of hope, and that’s something I really need right now. I feel like I’ve been sending out resumes into a black hole, so maybe, just maybe, the stars have something to say about it.
Anyway, that’s what I’ve been up to. Trying to crack the code of the universe to land a job. It might not be the most practical approach, but it’s definitely more interesting than just scrolling through job boards all day. Who knows, maybe the answer really is written in the stars. Or maybe I just need to keep hustling and networking. Either way, I’m not giving up. I figure it can’t hurt to try different things. I’ll let you know if I have any breakthroughs, astrological or otherwise!
