Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into astrology for a while now, and today, July 30th, I finally dove in. It felt like a good day to start, you know?
Getting Started
First, I googled “astrology for beginners” and, wow, there’s a lot of stuff out there. It was kind of overwhelming, to be honest. I picked a couple of websites that looked friendly and not too “woo-woo”.
- I learned about the different signs, like Aries, Taurus, Gemini, all that.
- Then I found out about the planets and what they supposedly rule. Like, Mars is all about energy and action, which makes sense.
- And the houses! Oh man, the houses. There are twelve of them, and they each represent a different area of life. It’s complicated.
My Chart
The most interesting part was creating my birth chart. You basically enter your birth date, time, and place, and this website spits out this crazy-looking wheel with all these symbols. It’s like a secret code or something.
I figured out I’m a Leo sun, which I already kinda knew. But my rising sign is Scorpio, and my moon is in Sagittarius. I read a little bit about what that all means, and it’s surprisingly…accurate? Like, it described me better than some personality tests I’ve taken.
Figuring it Out
I’m still super new to all this. I definitely need to do more research. There are aspects and transits and all these other terms I don’t even understand yet.
But, it was a fun start! I feel like I opened a door to something totally new and interesting. I’m going to keep digging and see where this astrology rabbit hole takes me. Maybe tomorrow I’ll try to understand those aspects… wish me luck!
