Okay, so the other day I was pondering a really random question: what’s the most common zodiac sign? I mean, are there more Leos running around than, say, Capricorns? I had no clue, so I decided to do some digging.
My Little Investigation
First, I hit up Google. You know, the usual “most common astrology sign” search. I found a bunch of articles, but I wanted something solid, like, with actual numbers.
I stumbled upon some data, not sure exactly from where, it seemed reliable. It basically laid out the birth rates for each month. Bingo!
- Virgo (August 23 – September 22): Seems like a lot of babies are conceived around the holiday season!
- Libra (September 23 – October 22):Right there with Virgo these were also very popular birth months.
- Scorpio(October23-November22):It’s less than Virgo and Libra.
So, I grabbed a pen and paper (yeah, I’m old school sometimes) and started to do a little math, to get the total of each zodiac sign.
I added up all birth date data and, the data showed that Virgo and Libra are most common astrology sign.
I thought, “Well, that’s interesting!” It’s kind of cool to think about how many people share a sign and what that might mean, although, I’m not a hardcore astrology believer,I just found that is an interesting question, and decided to figure it out.
