Okay, so I’ve been tracking this “sun conjunct north node transit” thing in my own life, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I started by, you know, just getting a sense of what it even means. I read a bunch of stuff online, but it all felt very…astrology-jargony. Basically, it’s about your life purpose and stepping into your potential, blah blah blah.

What I really wanted was to see how it played out in real life. So, I dug up my birth chart. I use this free website, enter my birth details, and boom – there’s my chart. I located my North Node (it looks like a little horseshoe) and then started tracking the Sun’s movement.
My Own Experiment
I marked the date when the Sun would be exactly conjunct my North Node. I figured, “Okay, let’s see what happens around this time.” I kept a journal, nothing fancy, just jotting down anything that felt significant, any opportunities that popped up, any weird urges or feelings I had.
Weeks Leading Up: Honestly, not much at first. I felt a little restless, like I should be doing something, but I wasn’t sure what. It was like an itch I couldn’t scratch.
- Started questioning my job. Was I really happy?
- Had a random urge to learn pottery. (Never done pottery in my life!)
- Felt drawn to reconnect with some old friends I hadn’t talked to in ages.
The Week Of: Things got interesting. A project I’d been pitching at work, kind of half-heartedly, suddenly got greenlit. My boss was all, “Yeah, let’s do it!” I was like, “Whoa, okay!”
I also signed up for that pottery class. Felt silly at first, but I actually loved it. Met some cool people, too.
And those old friends? We had a long, amazing phone call. Turns out, one of them is starting a business that’s exactly in line with my interests. We’re talking about collaborating.
Afterward: The momentum kept going. I’m still working on the project at work, and it’s challenging, but in a good way. I feel like I’m actually using my skills. The pottery thing is still a hobby, but it’s a great creative outlet. And the potential collaboration with my friend? It feels like it could be huge.
It wasn’t like fireworks and magic, but it was definitely a shift. It felt like the universe was giving me a little nudge (or maybe a big shove) in the right direction. I wouldn’t say I’ve completely “found my purpose,” but I’m definitely exploring new paths that feel more… me. I even act on some of that exploration!
