Okay, so the other day I kept seeing the number 1718 everywhere. On license plates, receipts, clocks – you name it. It was kinda freaking me out, so I finally decided to look it up. Turns out, it’s an “Angel Number.” I’d heard of these before, but never really paid much attention.
Apparently, 1718 is all about success and abundance. I mean, who doesn’t want that, right?
My 1718 Experiment
So, here’s what I did. First, I spent some time thinking about what “success” really means to me. It’s not just about money, although that’s part of it. It’s also about feeling fulfilled in my work and having enough time for my family and hobbies.
Then i have listed my goals:
- Get that promotion at work.
- Save enough money for a down payment on a house.
- Start a small side hustle doing something I love.
I started taking small steps. Like, I actually updated my resume (finally!). I also started tracking my expenses to see where my money was going. Turns out, I was spending way too much on takeout. Whoops!
Cut back on eating out, I’ve been cooking more at home. It’s actually been kind of fun, and I’m saving a ton of money.
Also set up a separate savings account specifically for my house down payment. Even just putting a little bit in each week makes me feel like I’m making progress.
The biggest thing, though, has been changing my mindset. Instead of just wishing for things to happen, I’m actively trying to make them happen. And I’m trying to stay positive, even when things get tough.
I’m still seeing 1718 around, but now it feels less like a weird coincidence and more like a little nudge, reminding me to keep going. It’s still early days, but I’m feeling optimistic. It’s like the universe is giving me a high-five or something.
