Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole astrology thing, and I wanted to see what it’s like to really feel my chart, you know? Not just read about it, but actually try to embody the energies. I picked “Libra Moon, Capricorn Sun” because, well, that’s me. It sounded like a good place to start.

The Prep Work
First, I spent some time just researching what these placements even mean. Like, getting a basic vibe. Libra Moon is all about balance, harmony, relationships, and beauty. Capricorn Sun is, like, the opposite: serious, disciplined, ambitious, and focused on the long game. Seems contradictory, right? That’s what I wanted to explore.
The Experiment Begins
- I started with the Libra Moon part. I decided to dedicate a whole day to “Libra Moon” activities.
- I put on some nice clothes, even though I was just working from home. Nothing fancy, just something that made me feel put-together and a little aesthetically pleasing.
- I put some real effort in my environment, I lit a nice candle,I played some chill music.
- I made sure to connect with people. I called my mom, texted a few friends just to chat, and really listened when they talked.
- And then,I Focused on things that is fair.
Shifting Gears to Capricorn Sun
- The next day, it was all about Capricorn Sun.
- I woke up super early, before the sun even came up,I’m not a morning person, it’s hard.
- I immediately made a to-do list for the day. Not just work stuff, but life stuff too. Like, “pay bills,” “research new investment options” – all that grown-up stuff I usually put off.
- I powered through that list. No distractions, no social media. Just checked things off, one by one. It felt…surprisingly good.
- I even blocked off time for long-term planning. I sat down with my budget and actually looked at my retirement savings goals. So Capricorn.
The Mash-Up – Finding the Balance
Okay, so doing them separately was interesting, but the real challenge was figuring out how these energies work together. It’s not about being one or the other, it’s about being both, right?
So, the next few days, I tried to be more mindful of integrating them. Here’s what I did:
- I still made time for relationships, but I also set boundaries. Like, “I’d love to chat, but I have to finish this project first.” Libra with a Capricorn backbone.
- I approached my work with Capricorn discipline, but I also tried to find ways to make it more collaborative and enjoyable, bringing in that Libra desire for harmony. For example,I discussed with my colleagues and listened to their opinions.
- I made an effort to be more decisive. Libras can be notoriously indecisive, but with that Capricorn influence, I pushed myself to make choices and stick to them.
The Takeaway (So Far)
It’s definitely a work in progress! It’s not like I’ve suddenly become a perfectly balanced, perfectly functioning human. But I think I’m starting to understand how these seemingly opposite energies can actually complement each other. It’s like, the Libra Moon softens the Capricorn Sun’s edges, and the Capricorn Sun gives the Libra Moon some much-needed structure and * it’s a useful attempt to find a balance of those two!
I’m going to keep experimenting with this. Maybe I’ll try other aspects of my chart next. It’s kind of fun, like a little self-discovery project. I’ll keep you posted!
