Okay, so I’ve been diving into this whole astrology thing, and let me tell you, it’s a rabbit hole. Today, I decided to really focus on understanding what it means to have a Sun in Scorpio and a Moon in Sagittarius. I’m a Scorpio Sun, Sag Moon myself, so, you know, gotta figure out what makes me tick, right?
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my birth chart. You need your birth date, time, and location to get this. I had mine already, because, well, I’m kind of obsessed. Make sure this information is accurate or everything that follows will be off, seriously, it all depends on the information.
Sun in Scorpio: The Deep Dive
Next, I started digging into what “Sun in Scorpio” actually means. I kind of already knew the basics – intense, passionate, secretive, maybe a little bit…much. I went through some of my go-to astrology resources.
I read a bunch of stuff, took notes, highlight important words, and tried to connect it back to, well, me. Like, do I really resonate with this “transformative” energy everyone talks about? (Spoiler: kinda, yeah.) Do I consider my self intense? (Answer is also, yeah.)
Moon in Sagittarius: The Wild Child
Then came the Moon in Sagittarius part. This, I knew less about. My moon sign is supposed to represent my emotional inner world, how I process feelings, my gut reactions, that kind of thing.
I found a lot of descriptions, looked them up and see what I could use, focusing on the Sag Moon’s need for freedom, adventure, and optimism. It’s, like, the total opposite of the Scorpio energy, so I was really curious how these two played together.
- Note to self: How do I balance the need for deep connection (Scorpio) with the need for total independence (Sagittarius)? That’s the million-dollar question.
Putting It All Together
The real work came in trying to synthesize these two seemingly contradictory energies. I spent a good chunk of time just…thinking. Walking around, staring out the window, probably looking like a crazy person. But, I was trying to feel into it, you know?
I started to see how my Sag Moon might give me a sense of hope even when I’m feeling those deep Scorpio emotions. Like, I can get really down, but there’s always this little spark that believes things will get better.
And I started to understand how my Scorpio intensity might actually fuel my Sagittarian desire for adventure. It’s not just about physical travel (though I love that); it’s about exploring the depths of everything – ideas, emotions, relationships.
Ongoing Exploration
Honestly, this is just the beginning. I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface. But it’s already been so helpful in understanding myself better. I’m going to keep journaling about this, keep observing my own patterns, and keep digging deeper into the world of astrology. It’s a lifelong journey, I think.
The best part is that it is going to be my own lifelong journey of self-discovery. It’s pretty exciting to get to know myself more each and every time.
