Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this astrology thing to figure out the best day for a job interview, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I wouldn’t call myself a believer, but hey, when you’re job hunting, you’re willing to try anything, right?

First thing I did was hop onto this site, “myAstro,” that supposedly gives you the lowdown on your best days for different stuff, including interviews. You punch in your birth time, and it spits out these dates that are supposed to be your lucky days.
I found some general advice, too. Like, apparently, Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays are good days. I guess it makes sense—avoid the start and end of the work week when everyone’s either slammed or checked out.
- Sunday: People are relaxed.
- Monday: Start of the week, fresh energy.
- Thursday: Getting closer to the weekend, good vibes.
Then I dug a bit deeper and found this whole thing about Tuesdays and Wednesdays being the “sweet spot.” The idea is that interviewers are more focused and less distracted mid-week. It kinda makes sense if you think about it. I mean, who’s really at their best on a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon?
The Experiment
Alright, so armed with this cosmic wisdom, I decided to put it to the test. I had a few interviews lined up, so I tried to schedule them based on what I found. One on a Wednesday that myAstro gave the thumbs up to and another on a Thursday that was supposedly a good day in general.
Oh, and I stumbled upon this wild tip. It said to take a lime, stick four cloves in it, and chant some mantra to Lord Hanuman 31 times before an interview. I did not do that. I have my limits.
And the color of your shirt? Apparently, blue is the way to go. It’s supposed to make you look all professional and reliable. I actually followed this advice, it is easy for me.
The Results
So, how did it go? Well, the Wednesday interview felt pretty good. I was calm, the interviewer seemed engaged, and we had a solid conversation. The Thursday one was a bit more rushed, but still decent. Did the stars align? Hard to say, but I did get an offer after that Wednesday interview. Coincidence? Maybe.
Look, I’m not saying you should base your entire job search on astrology. But hey, if it gives you a little confidence boost or helps you think about the best time to schedule an interview, why not? Just don’t forget to actually prepare for the interview, too. That’s probably more important than what day of the week it is. And for the love of all that is holy, don’t rely on the lime and clove thing. Just be yourself, be prepared, and hope for the best.
This whole experience has been more about having a bit of fun and trying something new during the stressful job hunt. If you’re curious, give it a shot. At the very least, you’ll have an interesting story to tell. And who knows, maybe the universe really does have your back. Or maybe it’s just the blue shirt.
