Okay, so, I’ve always been kinda into astrology, you know? Like, checking my horoscope, reading about moon phases, the usual stuff. But recently, I thought, why not try to turn this hobby into a little business? So, I decided to give it a shot.
First thing I did was jot down some ideas. I brainstormed what services I could offer. Personalized birth chart readings seemed like a good starting point. People love that stuff. I also thought about maybe doing workshops or writing some articles about astrology since apparently, you can make money from that. It sounded fun, and I figured it would be a good way to share my passion. And then I learned that Mercury is the main planet for business, so I made sure to mention that in my offerings.
Next, I started reading a bunch of stuff online about starting an astrology business. I found some articles and guides that talked about building a brand, finding clients, and even forming an LLC. Sounded all official, but also kind of exciting. And then I learned about how there isn’t much scientific backing to astrology, but I figured, people still enjoy it, so why not?
Then, I got to work on creating some content. I whipped up a few sample birth chart readings and drafted a couple of articles on interesting astrological topics like the influence of Saturn, Venus, Sun and Mars. I wanted to show people what I could do and also get them hooked. After all, I learned that having a clear niche is important.
After that, I started reaching out to friends and family to see if anyone wanted a reading. I figured they’d be my first clients and also give me some feedback. I even offered them a discount to sweeten the deal. I got a few takers, and it was cool to see how excited they were about their readings.
Finally, I set up a simple webpage to showcase my services and share my articles. I also created some social media accounts to connect with potential clients and post astrology-related content. I figured that would be a good way to get my name out there.
It’s been a fun ride so far. I’m learning a lot, and it’s awesome to see people getting value from my readings and workshops. I know it’s not gonna be a quick road to riches, but I’m enjoying the process and seeing where it takes me. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll be a full-time astrologer! Also, I learned that you need a solid business plan, and I’m working on that, too.
