Alright, so the other day I was messing around with this whole “Aquarius Sun, Virgo Moon” thing. I saw this post online about tracking the sun and moon, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, who wouldn’t want to feel all wise and in sync with the stars, right? Sounds cool.

So I started digging around, looking for ways to track this stuff. I stumbled upon a bunch of flashcards, like those things we used to use in school. They had terms like “social construct” and stuff from the “U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.” I’m not really into the whole academic vibe, but I skimmed through them anyway. There were some multiple-choice questions too, with options like “c” and “a.” Felt like being back in high school, taking a test I didn’t study for. No way.
Then I found this whole thing about “URL encoding.” It’s basically about translating weird characters in web addresses into something that makes sense everywhere. You know, like when you see those “%20” things in a URL? That’s it. There were tags like “Encode Chinese Characters in URL” and “URL Decode.” It’s like a secret code for websites. Not really my thing, but I guess it’s useful for some folks. Anyway I skipped it.
And then there’s this song, “The Dawning of the Age of Aquarius,” from the musical “Hair.” I’ve heard it before, and it’s pretty catchy. Apparently, it’s got something to do with astronomy, but honestly, I just like the tune. I started to hum along, but I think I might be off-key.
I also saw something about “binary format” and “CodePlex” dated October 4, 2024. I guess that’s some tech stuff, but I didn’t really pay much attention. Future stuff, you know? Not really relevant to what I was trying to do with the stars and moon.
My Actual Star Tracking Adventure
First, I decided I needed a way to actually see where the sun and moon are. I found a simple website, you know the kind that looks like it was made in the early 2000s. But, it had a map that showed the current positions of the sun and moon. Cool beans! I could see that the sun was over the Pacific Ocean, and the moon was chilling above Africa.
- Next, I wanted to get a bit more specific about this “Aquarius Sun, Virgo Moon” thing.
- Tried to use another website to find out what it meant to have my sun in Aquarius and my moon in Virgo.
- Got a bunch of vague descriptions about being analytical and humanitarian, but nothing too specific. Whatever, I can be those things, I guess.
Then, I thought it would be cool to see how the positions of the sun and moon change over time. So, I used the website’s controls to speed up the movement of the sun and moon across the sky. It was kind of mesmerizing, watching them dance around the Earth.
- Watched as the sun moved into the evening sky over Asia, and the moon rose over South America.
- Felt a bit like a time traveler, watching the days and nights pass by in fast forward. Pretty neat, if you ask me.
Finally, I decided to see what the sun and moon would be doing on a specific date – my birthday, because why not? I entered the date into the website and watched as the sun and moon jumped to their positions for that day. Turns out, the sun will be in Pisces, and the moon will be in Leo. I guess I’ll have to wait and see what that means for me.
So, that’s my little adventure with tracking the sun and moon. It wasn’t exactly life-changing, but it was a fun way to spend an afternoon. Maybe I’ll do it again sometime, or maybe I’ll just stick to listening to that “Age of Aquarius” song. Who knows?
