Okay, so the other day I kept seeing the number 718 everywhere. It was on license plates, receipts, even the time on my microwave! I’m not usually one for this kind of thing, but it felt like too much of a coincidence, so I started to get curious.
First, I grabbed my phone and typed “718 angel number” into Google. I scrolled through a bunch of websites, and most of them talked about positive changes, new beginnings, and trusting your intuition. It was all pretty general, but it felt… encouraging.
My Little Experiment Begins
I decided I’d treat this like a little experiment. For one week, I would actively look for 718 and note down where and when I saw it, along with what I was doing or thinking at the time. I grabbed a small notebook and dedicated it to my “718 sightings.”
- Day 1: Saw it on a billboard advertising a sale. I was thinking about needing new shoes. Maybe a sign to treat myself?
- Day 2: The total on my grocery bill was $71.80. I had been feeling stressed about money, so this felt oddly reassuring.
- Day 3: 718 appeared on a clock while I was in the middle of working.
- Day 4: Nothing! I was starting to think I was imagining things.
- Day 5: A random email subject line had “718” in it. It was about a workshop I’d been considering. Hmm…
- Day 6: I spotted it on a bus number. I was on my way to meet a friend I hadn’t seen in ages.
- Day 7: My coffee order number was 718. I was feeling pretty good about how the week had gone.
By the end of the week, I had a whole page of these little observations. I reviewed my notes, and while there wasn’t any earth-shattering revelation, I did notice a pattern. Most of the times I saw 718, I was either thinking about something I wanted to change or do, or I was already in the process of making a positive change.
So, did the number 718 magically change my life? No. But paying attention to it did make me more mindful of my thoughts and actions. It pushed me to take a few small steps I might have otherwise procrastinated on. And that, in itself, felt like a win.
I’m still not sure what I believe about angel numbers, but this little experiment definitely opened my mind a bit. Maybe it’s all just coincidence, or maybe there’s something more to it. Either way, I’m going to keep my eyes open… just in case.
